Bangs, Fringe, Forehead Hiders...whatever you call them...they can totally change the look of a face- make it look wider, shorter, rounder, hide a disliked forehead.
So here is Ms. Kim Kardashian's new hair do of 2012...
or at least her hair for New Years- since she was seen sans bangs, after new years, it'd be safe to say she clipped in some "faux fringe" for a change on New Years.
What do you guys thing? Better with bangs or no bangs?
I think she it's a fun change, and she looks pretty like Cleopatra...BUT...
I know for my face, when I have bangs it makes my face look rounder and in my mind "puffier"..ha ha ha ha
Me, with a wig ofcourse, from my 20's make-up tutorial- hmmm, I like the short wig, but I don't think I'm a fan of the short bangs, even though I know my forehead is gigantron!
And here with no bangles, or actaully side-swept bangs-my face looks less round like a lollipop! ha ha I look better with the side swept bang or fringe, it covers part of my forehead but gives the illusion of no bangs, but offers volume and a softer hair line. It's a good thing I did my "how to cut side swept bang tutorial", because it reminds me exactly how I did it! ha ha ha
So what do you guys think... "to fringe (as they say in the UK) or not to fringe"...

Normally I keep the side-swept bangs like you. (learned to cut them myself from your awesome tutorial!) but recently I got brave and cut some straight across, much like Kim K.'s! Actually, Zooey Descanel was my celebrity inspiration. While I love the new look, it's definitely not something I will keep forever. I will certainly refer back to your tutorial when I go back to side-swept ;)

You look so cute in the last picture! Kim looks better without bangs. I've had some type of bang for years. I used to have choppy bangs but I have a cowlick so they're a pain. Now Im back to my regular side bangs. I NEED bangs cause I have a five head :p
"She bangs, she bangs!" From American Idol years ago. haha. I think you should do it. Its not like they will be like that forever. You can just grow them out! You're beautiful inside and out, no matter what your hair looks like Kandee!
I think u would look great with bangs and I always am up for a change, just to be different. But regardless of how your bangs are cut, you look beautiful! Just remember bangs when they grow out go through that annoying stage where they are always in your face (I always forget that). No bangs/side swept bangs!!!
girl u always beat me to the post! lol I was just checking out her new bangs and absolutely ADORE them! <3 I have naturally curly hair, so when I was younger, I straightened it alot and rocked the fringe bangs for a long time. I've been wearing it natural for so long now that I am too fond my my curls, but miss the hair in my face ;P So if you know any sort of fringe look that accents curls, please let me know! :)

I love bangs of every kind. The side swept is so flattering on practically everyone and a full bang is perfect for dramatic looks. I've rocked the blunt fringe many times and always loved them. Of course straight bangs are not for everyone, in the case of Kim I think they look too strict and not as fun as her sans bangs Bombshell, voluminous look
