and if only we didn't need to sleep, I could get them done!
Oh....I'm so excited....
it is inspired by candy, vintage treasures, old candy shops, candyland, Serendipity (the movie, and when they actually go to Serendipity, and it is amazing- twinkly lights and interesting things all around. When I first went to Serendipity in NYC, I was sad that it didn't look as enchanting as in the movie, but they have set decorators to make it look more amazing for the movie. They bring in better, more "enchanting" lighting, cute props, plants, all kinds of stuff. I should've known. ha ha ha )...
This is me and baby in the "real" Serendipity 3, looking at all their fun jewelry as we waited for a table...this was a few months ago...
The Sundae's and desserts at Serendipity are A-MAY-to-the-Capital-ZING!!! I got the standard sundae...and my mom got the Sand Tart...oh my delish-she-us-ness! It is coffee ice cream (I know, I don't drink coffee, but I love coffee ice cream...weird.) Homemade hot fudge, the shortbread type "sand" crust...and I just wanted to forget my sundae and eat her dessert, instead.
Ok, I started this whole blog to show you a little glimpse at my fun new decoration project....now I am craving a sand tart from Serendipity and it's on the other side of the country, so there's no hope for getting one. ha ha ha
Oh, boy...maybe I'll make some hot white chocolate...oh maybe I should do a video on that!
off to dream of sand tarts and glitter ribbon to decorate with....
huge hugs and love, your kandee
