I'm not even going to comment- all I'm going to say is that when I went to look at the new line, the Cindy Sherman Collection at the MAC store.
Yes, Cindy Sherman is an artist, known for this kind of work, but that doesn't mean it didn't scare my kids! ha ha ha
They were so frightened by the creepy clown (lots of people are scared of clowns for some reason) and the creepy "smile" lady pictures that we just left.
and no I'm not joking...
they do even give me the creeps....a little bit...
But I did get to see and play with a few of the colors- I didn't buy anything actually- just some I already own...but I may go back and buy a couple things!
I'm all for ART, but it's hard to see how beautiful the colors from the collection are when you see these pictures. Do I want to look like any of these pictures- "Hints by Heloise- NO!" I don't even like them for costume looks! ha ha
I do applaud Cindy Sherman for making a career out of putting crazy "make-up" looks on, no matter what her message may be behind the look.

Now I like these fun colors below....
the lipsticks and Chromographic pencils were my favs...the pigments are great, but you're never gonna use up a whole jar that size of pigments unless you are painting bodies everyday- why MAC don't you make a mini collection of like 24 pigments that are miniature and cheaper than a whole jar of a color you'll rarely use?

These pencils are super creamy and dreamy to draw with- I actually loved all 4 colors!
and finally MAC steps up to the plate by offering these colors not just for the PRO stores...but for everyone....Some of these colors ar not new, like Ruby Woo lipstick, I love it but it's an oldie but goodie.

FLESHPOT LIPSTICK - is one of my favorites and I believe it's a PRO only color, so you can normally only get it at PRO store-which are not the MAC's you see in malls.-
BUY THIS- it is my FAVORITE nude color ever- nothing even comes close to this- nope not even MYTH...it is nude, yet warm, but not orangey...i love this color. And as usual it will not be sold all the time...thanks for than MAC (that was sarcasm).
So in the end, thanks MAC for giving us some new colors, bringing back Feline and Fleshpot and the Zoom Mascara is awesome. I heart those Chromographic colors....but no thanks for the creepy clown pictures that didn't even show off how pretty some of these colors are! ha ha ha
Happy colors and pretty pictures..life has enough unhappy things I don't want to look at more unhappy images...ha ha ha....if these images disturbed you too, I'm sorry...just look at the pretty products...
I could've come up with some amazing looks with this color line...man....how do you get an offer like Cindy Sherman got from MAC?
