Okay, where to begin! Kandee you are my idol! I love your positivity. The very first thing I do in the morning is check to see if you've uploaded any videos or posted any new blogs. You have really helped me see past my mistakes and believe that each day is a new day, and to take life as it comes, not to let it affect me negatively.
You inspire me to be a better person. I also had children out of wedlock. I was young, 15, when I had my first baby girl. Once word got out, I was shunned by the church I was attending. I completely turned my back on God and my faith. YOU have made me rethink this! I looked at the way my life was going and was not happy! I realized I was missing something huge and was unsuccessfully trying to fill that void with men. I've since found a new church that accepts me for who I am and encourages me in everything I set out to do. They welcome me and my two young children.
I am also going back to school for Aesthetics in a month! I know that if you can be so amazing and successful with three children, (and one on the way) I have no excuse to abandon my dreams.
Also, I love that you don't let negative comments drag you down. You are radiant and beautiful. I love your voice! It is really calming. I actually will watch your videos before I go to sleep, and they help me unwind, even though I've seen most of them two or three times now.

Heehee...your eyebrow-shaping video was one of the first of yours I watched...and paused, and took notes...after soaking up your techniques and applying them, I routinely catch other women staring at my eyebrows during conversations with them and inevitably they say, "Your eyebrows are amazing! Who does them?" To which I get to say, "I do! BUT I learned how from a professional make-up artist who posts how-tos on YouTube; her name is Kandee Johnson...you HAVE to watch her videos!" My mom and 14 year-old sister thank you, by the way...or maybe their eyebrows do...I passed on your techniques to them and did their brows. Now we all have "Brows that WOW!" Haha.

I enjoy your blog because you come across very genuine and spontaneous. I am a mom as well, so it is encouraging to see other hot mommas! Too many colors, not enough color-theory-knowledge...that was BEFORE Kandee! I think you are for me what some would call a therapist; I am not afraid to try, to experiment, and now start out any experimental make-up session fairly confident that whatever I come up with can't POSSIBLY look TOO bad! I love your videos. I can say you honestly inspired me. How? I used to be..a pretty depressed kid. I was beginning to give up on my homeschooling because i thought that i would never use any of it for what i wanted to do in the future.(Do make-up and hair) Then i discovered you on youtube. And you always had such a smile on you face and an awesome attitude that brightened me up. You tought me many things about..well, everything. That's when i realized was on the wrong path to the future i wanted. Since then i have been trying so hard and i am now doing to graduate early and enroll in a nearby beauty college!
