OMG Kandee, I can't even begin to tell you how much you brighten my world. Especially these last two winters, I've felt more insecure because people would make fun of me (personality, hair, clothes, whatever- on campus and customers at work) and I'd try to stay strong but a person can only take so much. I just want to tell you how amazing i think you are! You are such an inspiration to me and to many others. You've inspired me to go after my dream. You see, I went to beauty school, finished and all but because the school was so bad i was never able to take the state board exam. Bummer i know. I tried and tried but the school gave me the run around for years! Literally! Finally, I just gave up on it :( Then I started watching your videos, practically since the beginning. You have inspired me to follow my dream. Just a few months ago I went and fought for my education. I'm currently attending the school again (crossing fingers that i don't get jipped again ha ha) and will hopefully take my test soon. I've worked on small stuff like weddings for friends and family but last month i did my very first Fashion Show!! Yay!! I honestly don't think I would have done it if it wasn't for watching all your tutorials. I honestly do have you to thank for it and even if i don't win this contest (even though i hope i do lol) I'm just so very glad that i came across your videos. Kandee I live your YouTube channels and your blog. Every time a new video comes out I am so excites to see what new tips, tricks, or looks you have to show or just to see what is going on in your life. It is hard I have found in life to find someone as positive as you. You make your viewers feel that no matter how they look, dress, etc that as long as they have confidence they are beautiful. The only other place that I have encountered this kind of confidence in a woman was while I was deployed in Iraq. This was a place where body armor took place of makeup and hair products, yet you could see the confidence beaming from these women who knew that no matter what they were beautiful.
